No STOP-ping Wendy
There’s no stopping Wendy Goodall, aged 59 years a School Crossing Patrol Warden at Joseph Locke Primary School in her mission to raise funds for Barnsley Hospital Charity.
Last year Wendy took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks and we met up with her this week to celebrate a fantastic total of £640, not content with that, Wendy walked over LEGO at the charity event on Barnsley market last weekend 22 March, raising £50 and has just signed up to do a charity skydive on 30 April for the charity’s new Breast Care Appeal launching this Spring.
Jane Mills, Charity Development Manager said “Wendy has truly gone above and beyond, not just in ensuring the safety of the children every day, but now also by embarking on an extraordinary journey—walking and skydiving—to raise funds helping our patients. Her selfless efforts are an inspiration to both the children and the entire community, showing us all that kindness and courage know no bounds. We can’t thank her enough for her dedication and remarkable spirit.”
