We are a small charity team who strive to make a big difference for the benefit of our patients, staff and volunteers at Barnsley Hospital. We love supporting our fundraisers either with their own fundraising, donating or in taking part in our events.

I am passionate about developing our charity to make a lasting difference to the lives of those we love – our patients, staff and volunteers by creating opportunities to work with charitable trusts, major donors and local and national businesses. Every day I am humbled by the incredible efforts of our supporters, who always go the extra mile for our charity, I like to meet as many as possible and say a personal thank you.
I lead on advancing our charity’s major fundraising appeals and planning and developing fundraising activities to ensure maximum impact for our work in the hospital. I am very proud to have supported reaching our £1 million target for our Tiny Hearts Appeal and to have led on reaching our £300,000 target for our Make A Memory Appeal.
I believe you need to be able to put your money where your mouth is with fundraising and I take an active part in our fundraising, I am a real daredevil with 2 skydives, fire and glass walk and a cold water plunge so far under my belt!

I would love to hear how you can help us give back and make that lasting impact on our patients, staff and volunteers. I would love to hear from local business, clubs, groups and individuals and will be your helping hand to those who want to get involved.
I like to lead by example in fundraising and like to stay a little more on the ground with a cold-water plunge, fire walk and I have just signed up for my first 10k. Although myth has it I may get off the ground with a wing walk in 2025.

I joined the charity team in March 2021. I love to be organised and ensure all the charity admin is kept up to date. My favourite part of the job is seeing what a difference the donations make within the hospital for patients and staff.
I feel very lucky and proud to be part of such an amazing, passionate team. Meeting our supporters and listening to why they are fundraising is very humbling.
Fun fact: I am petrified of heights but I might …potentially, consider doing a skydive one day!!!
